Men, Isolation and the Power of Community

In this link I share a story about my “biker” days, riding atop 1,300 cubic centimeters of hot power, and having typical guy-conversations while filling our gas tanks after the first 100 miles.

Most men in America have guy-relationships ~ biker buddies, golf buddies, jogging buddies, racquet-ball buddies, church buddies, work buddies ~ whatever.

But most men don’t have in-depth, trusting, totally open and honest, vulnerable relationships with other men.  In fact, most men don’t have that kind of connection with anyone, including wives.

This link speaks to that issue.  It’s not a beat-up-men link ~ it’s a “Hey, look at this, and here’s an idea” link.
