The most active sex organ in the human body is not one’s genitals — it’s one’s brain. What goes on in our head determines what happens elsewhere. This chapter is built upon a single scripture text in which Paul uses a military analogy regarding taking thoughts captive. Captives have one thing in common — they’re powerless. If they had power, they would not be captives. This third lesson in the biblical sexual worldview series is aimed at using scripture to take captive and make powerless, things that otherwise tend to enslave us and make US captive.
